i loved the location was a one minute walk from the main street with many veggie options, and the prices felt good. the room felt functional, even with warnings about monkeys, so we always kept the doors locked. there are monkeys who know how to open doors, but we didn't have any come inside.
the grounds seemed quite neglected. the resort felt a little unloved, even if it was okay for one night.

The location of the resort is excellent, with the national park within walking distance. i liked that many restaurants were nearby. The choices were plentiful. the bungalows had terraces facing the jungle, so monkeys were common visitors. the staff were very friendly, too.

my bungalow was huge. it included a big bed, a fridge, and a separate dressing area. a bathroom with a good shower. the outdoor space had seating to read or enjoy the view. i planned activities through the reception, a half day hike and lake day, both were great. mafia, our tour guide, adapted our tour to suit my love of spiders.
there was a slide into the river out of service. i thought the site generally needed tidying.

The beds were firm and comfortable. The room was quite spacious (perfect for spreading out). Staff seemed to enjoy interacting with children and offered games. A convenient play area was located near the breakfast tables.
I noticed a lot of rubble and building waste around the hotel. The grounds seemed a little neglected. A water slide was out of service (this was disappointing). the resort seemed to need some updates.

Wonderful Stay Close to Nature

The swimming pool was very nice. It felt great after exploring! Helpful staff at the desk assisted me in organizing tours. The location is conveniently close to the park. This made access easy. I met monkeys around the hotel. It was a unique experience.
The slide into the river was out of service. This was a slight disappointment.

The room was spacious enough for all my belongings. The beds were also nice and firm. The shower temperature could be regulated well, and the pressure was consistently good, I appreciated it a lot.

The hotel is centrally located, and being right by the river was great. The hotel provides close proximity to many restaurants and bars. I found it very convenient. I appreciated the added benefit of the swimming pool too.

Breakfast had playful monkeys nearby. It was fun. the beds supported me perfectly, and the room offered ample space for everything we brought. i adjusted the shower to the ideal temperature, and the water pressure was excellent. the staff engaged so tenderly with my girls, always ready to play.
